Janet Shaffer

Jan has been with Carlson Veit Junge Architects since 1999 as Office Manager. She attended Arkansas State University with continuing education at Southwestern Community College (Coos Bay, Oregon), Portland Community College, and Chemeketa Community College. Jan served as a Communication Center Specialist in the U.S. Army, which included work at the Army Operations Communication Center at the Pentagon. She grew up in Central Oregon and the high desert is still home to her. Her other previous experience includes office management at a Portland truck sales firm, a Lake Oswego micrographics company, and a Beaverton answering service and secretarial service. In her spare time, Jan enjoys reading, gardening, cooking, hiking, traveling with her husband, volunteering, and spending time with her family and two wonderful grandchildren.
