16,000 sq. ft. Type I, Ambulatory Surgery Center for a multi-discipline facility. The building includes clinical exam areas and medical support. All patient recovery areas, staff offices, and conference rooms are located along perimeter walls. Roof overhangs block direct sunlight and allow daylight through numerous, large sized windows. Triple paned glazing eliminates noise from the busy intersection. Site work included excavating a garden level facing south creating a day lit basement. Natural materials and finishes convey a comfortable healing environment that conceals the clinical nature of the facility.
