Kristy Cable

Kristy joined Carlson Veit Junge Architects in 2021 as an Interior Designer. Kristy studied Interior Design at Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and graduated in 2017. Kristy has been involved in the International Interior Design Association (IIDA) for the last six years, volunteering on the board for the last two. With a strong background in drafting and space planning, Kristy has always been very creative, artistic, and incorporates those skills well throughout her designs. Kristy’s strengths include understanding the client’s objectives and creating a functional and creative design that fits their overall needs. Kristy was adopted around age 6 and grew up on an exotic animal farm in a very small town in Iowa with nine siblings. She, her husband, and her 3-year-old daughter moved to Oregon in 2021 for the endless outdoor recreation opportunities and abundance of unique foods. They bought a fixer-upper house and spend their free time making it feel more like home. Kristy enjoys traveling to new places to experience different cultures and their history. Her family often goes on hikes with their two dogs, Kita and Aleu. In her downtime, she cuddles with her three cats. Her soul lives for coffee and tea, and will stop any time of the day for a cup when she sees a new coffee shop to help ease her mind and soul.
