The Open Dental Software campus includes four buildings, all constructed since 2016, with two more under construction and yet another in the design phase. Primarily housing call centers to provide customer support for the software, the buildings have large, open floor plans with abundant natural lighting. The predominant structural system for these buildings is a steel frame with horizontal box girts, fabricated from cold-formed steel framing members, to attach the insulated metal panel exterior walls. The steel framing, bar joists, and metal panels are painted and exposed, reducing the costs associated with finishes.
