Don Froylan Creamery

A new 9,000 SF pre-engineered metal building for making and selling cheese, Don Froylan Creamery has opened a new location in Salem. After maxing out his space in Albany, Oregon, the owner needed a new factory that could process more than 8,000 gallons of milk per day and increase production efficiency to meet a growing demand for his product. In addition to a general production area, the factory includes spaces for aging, warming, cooling, packing and shipping cheese, and large milk and whey storage tanks. The building also includes a retail cheese shop with a café and kitchen that offers quesadillas, grilled cheese, and ice cream. Viewing windows are provided in the retail space so that customers can have a look into the production and aging areas.
